Wi-Fi Networks

  • 91传媒EMP – For faculty and staff
  • 91传媒STU – For students
  • 91传媒GUEST – For guests and visitors

91传媒EMP and 91传媒STU

These secured networks provide access to internal “on-campus” resources and allow for continuous connection (no need to reconnect every 4 hours). To use these networks:

  • You must register your personal wireless device via the My Devices Portal (see below)
  • Upon connecting for the first time, you'll be prompted for your 91传媒 username and password
  • After that, you should remain connected unless:
    • Your password changes
    • You manually forget the network
    • Your device registration expires

91传媒GUEST

For guests and temporary visitors:

  • Requires a guest wireless account (username and password)
  • Prompts for login every time you connect
  • Times out after 4 hours of connected time, regardless of activity
  • Provides internet access only — no access to internal resources like shared drives
  • Not secure or encrypted; network bandwidth is limited
  • Do not process credit card transactions on this network; it may not comply with PCI-DSS 3.2 standards
