Wi-Fi Access and Device Registration
Wi-Fi Networks
- 91传媒EMP – For faculty and staff
- 91传媒STU – For students
- 91传媒GUEST – For guests and visitors
91传媒EMP and 91传媒STU
These secured networks provide access to internal “on-campus” resources and allow for continuous connection (no need to reconnect every 4 hours). To use these networks:
- You must register your personal wireless device via the My Devices Portal (see below)
- Upon connecting for the first time, you'll be prompted for your 91传媒 username and password
- After that, you should remain connected unless:
- Your password changes
- You manually forget the network
- Your device registration expires
91传媒GUEST
For guests and temporary visitors:
- Requires a guest wireless account (username and password)
- Prompts for login every time you connect
- Times out after 4 hours of connected time, regardless of activity
- Provides internet access only — no access to internal resources like shared drives
- Not secure or encrypted; network bandwidth is limited
- Do not process credit card transactions on this network; it may not comply with PCI-DSS 3.2 standards
Registering Your Personal Devices
If you are a student, resident, faculty or staff member, you must register your device to connect to 91传媒EMP or 91传媒STU. By registering, you agree to comply with 91传媒's .
Use the My Devices Portal
- Visit the at . To access the portal, you need to be on campus.
- Log in with your 91传媒 network username and password
- Enter your device name, wi-fi/MAC address, and a device description
- If you need help finding your MAC address, refer to this guide: Determining Your MAC Address
- Once registered:
- Your device status will show as “pending” (this is normal and will not change)
- Wait a few minutes before trying to connect
- You won't need to register again unless your device info or password changes
Note: 91传媒GUEST does not require registration, but does require login credentials.

- Use Google Chrome as your browser for the best experience. Other browsers may not allow you to log in.
